All are invited to the Friends of the Library annual spring used book sale at the Jefferson public library. Beginning Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27, the sale is an opportunity to stock up on books and movies. The fundraiser takes place during regular library hours – Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm, Friday from 1 to 5:30 pm, and Saturday, from 9 am to 1 pm – in the library basement.
All genres of books are sold, including large print, mysteries, romance, cookbooks, gardening, history, inspirational fiction, children’s books, and also audio books. Parents and grandparents are invited to be prepared this summer by providing affordable reading materials in their home.
Admission is free.
Most hardback books will be $1, while most paperback books will be 50 cents. Most children’s books are 25 cents. This year the sale will feature a large selection of donated history, classics, and biographies.
The Friends host this spring book sale as a major fundraiser for our community library. Through purchases, library supported allow the library to offer more resources for everyone to use and enjoy.
